After relocating several times between Allen Street and College Avenue, Lions Pride found a permanent home along the 100 block of College Ave in the 1980s where they completed an addition in 2008, doubling the size of the store. With twice as much space, Lions Pride has been able to expand in-store and online business literally providing, "Everything Penn State, for every Penn Stater", on a local and global scale.
With a strong focus on providing support to the University and community, Lions Pride gives thousands of dollars in donations annually to various non-profit groups and organizations. Over the past three years, Lions Pride has been able to donate 20% of its total sales for the four weeks leading up to THON to the Four Diamonds Fund at Hershey Medical Center. Recently, Lions Pride also donated a percentage of sales of the "Alabama v. Penn State" game day t-shirt to the Alabama tornado relief fund through the American Red Cross. Lions Pride received an outpouring of support from people all over the country.
"We have long known what wonderful people are affiliated with Penn State University, but your kindness during this tragedy really stamps "Class"
with a capital C on the White and Blue. So from myself, my family, and many other Bama Alumni and fans, a shout out of tremendous gratitude...'WE ARE...PENN State."-Marcia Johnson, Alabama Alumnus
