Penn State Seeks Second NCAA Wrestling Title

Cael Sanderson and company have all but captured their second straight NCAA title in St. Louis, after going 5-5 in the semifinal round Friday night. Unbeaten top seeds Frank Molinaro at 149, David Taylor at 165 and Ed Ruth at 174, will compete in the finals Saturday evening. Fellow Nittany Lions Nico Megaludis at width= 125 and defending National Champion Quentin Wright at 184 will also compete in the final round of the championship. Early Friday the Nittany Lions led Minnesota by 17 points. By the end of the day Penn State stretched the gap to an impressive 23.5 with 124 points overall. Action begins this morning at 11am EST, live on ESPNU. The National finals will begin at 7:30pm EST and will air live on ESPN.
