Starting off Fall Break the Penn State Way

This weekend will be the perfect start to a much needed fall break! For those of you who are staying the weekend at University Park, here are a few things to keep you busy. Hopefully many of our students and alumni will stick around to support the Penn State Nittany Lions football team in their last home game of the season!

Friday November 22nd, the Penn State Cello Choir will host its fall concert at 2:30 p.m. in Esber Recital Hall. Admission is free!

Also on Friday Keith Urban, Little Big Town and special guest Dustin Lynch will be performing at the Bryce Jordan Center. Doors open at 6 PM and the show begins at 7. Tickets are still available at the BJC box office!

The Penn State Woman’s volleyball team has back to back games both Friday and Saturday. Friday at 7 PM, the Lady Lions will host Northwestern; this game will also be air on the Big Ten Network! Then on Saturday, the team goes up against Illinois. Game starts at 7:30 PM!

Saturday the 23rd, Penn State takes on Nebraska for the Nittany Lions’ last home game of the season! Come out and penn state wrestlingsupport our graduating seniors. The senior game ceremony will take place 30 minutes before kickoff (which is a 3:30 PM) so try to show up early! Coach Bill O’Brien is hopeful that the Penn State students will stick around to support these seniors who stayed after given the chance to leave.

On Sunday the 24th, Penn State’s Nittany Lions’ basketball team hosts Longwood at the BJC. The game starts at 1 PM and anyone who participated in the “Charity Stripe Challenge” will receive free admission into the game.

The Penn State wrestling team will host Lock Haven in their home opener on Sunday. The Nittany Lions will take on the Lock Haven Bald Eagles at 2 PM in Rec Hall. This is a neighborhood rival you won’t want to miss!
