This Friday the SPA is bringing some country to State College. Country singer Randy Houser will be performing a free student concert beginning at 10 PM in the HUB- Alumni Hall. Doors open at 9:45PM and students must present a valid Penn State ID.
Saturday night you can stop by the HUB between 9PM and 1AM to embrace your inner child and make some Halloween crafts. Let’s get real; you’re never too old for crafts!
On Monday November 4th the SPA Lectures Series will be presenting: Endeavor to Succeed - Mark Kelly & Gabrielle Giffords. Gabrielle Giffords is a former Democratic member of the House of Representatives. Giffords resigned from her position to focus on recovery after being a victim in the 2011 shooting near Tucson, Arizona. Her husband, Mark Kelly is an American astronaut, retired US Navy Captain, best-selling author, prostate cancer survivor, and experienced naval aviator in Gulf War combat missions. Together they’ll be sharing their life experiences and show the audience how to reach their life goals. Tickets to the lecture are free and now available to students. Tickets will open to the general public beginning Monday Oct. 28th. Tickets can be picked up at the HUB Information Desk, Eisenhower Auditorium, Bryce Jordan Center, & Penn State Downtown Theatre Center.
