Lions Pride's Four Weeks for Four Diamonds
Lions Pride will be donating 20% of their entire sales from January 23th until February 20th to the 2012 Penn State Dance Marathon. THON will be held February 17-19 at the Bryce Jordan Center.
In the four weeks leading up to THON, simply shop online, by phone, or in the store and Lions Pride will donate 20% of your sale to THON. It's that easy! If you spend $75 or more, you will receive a FREE Lions Pride THON t-shirt! The Lions Pride THON t-shirts are also available to purchase for $15. All proceeds from t-shirt sales go directly to THON. This year Lions Pride is also donating $0.25 for every new follower on Facebook. Please make sure to share this information with all of your friends!
In 1973, a small group of dedicated Penn State students held our first Dance Marathon. That y
ear, 34 dancers participated and raised $2,000. Since then, THON’s presence in the Penn State community has grown exponentially. THON now has 15,000 student volunteers, 700 dancers, and has raised more than $78 million, benefiting The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Children’s Hospital. THON is now a year-long effort that raises funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer. With the support of students from all across the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and THON Alumni all around the world, we continue to make great strides towards finding a cure for all childhood cancers!
THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world! The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, affectionately referred to as “THON”, is excited to have you join them in their fight to conquer childhood cancer.
